What fixings do you stock for Swisspearl panels?

Swisspearl is a Swiss manufacturer of fibre-cement rainscreen panels, recognised internationally for its quality and design range. We stock a range of rivets, screws and installation accessories compatible with Swisspearl fibre cement rainscreen panels. All products on this page are suitable for 8mm Swisspearl panel installations. As with any fibre cement brand, always refer to your Swisspearl installation guide to confirm the correct fixing specification for your project before ordering.

Which rivet do I need for my Swisspearl panel?

Aluminium/stainless large flange dome head rivets are compatible with Swisspearl fibre cement panels fixed to aluminium subframes. Two sizes are available depending on your grip range requirement:

  • 4 x 18 x 15mm - 15mm head diameter, 4mm body. The standard choice for 8mm Swisspearl panel installations.
  • 4 x 25 x 15mm - 15mm head diameter, 4mm body. For installations where a longer grip range is required.

Both rivets are available unpainted or color-matched in Standard, Gloss, Woodgrain, Metallic or Chameleon finishes.

What Installation Tools Do I need?

Three tools are needed for a correct Swisspearl rivet installation:

  • Centralising Tool - two versions available, depending on your subframe. The 8.5 x 4.1mm tool is for metal subframes, producing 9mm sliding point holes with a 4.1mm drill bit. The 7.5 x 3mm tool is for timber subframes, drilling a 3mm pilot hole concentric to an 8mm sliding point. Replacement drill bits are available for both 4.1mm for the metal tool and 3mm for the timber tool.
  • Carbide drill bits - available in 4.1mm x 22mm, 8mm, 37mm and 9mm x 40mm. Carbide is the correct bit type for drilling through fibre cement panels. Do not use standard HSS bits on fibre cement as they will not hold tolerance and may damage the panel face.
  • Rivet setting nose piece - K15 - compatible with all major powered rivet tools, including Gesipa, ensuring each rivet is set exactly 0.3mm from the panel surface to allow for thermal movement after installation.

Can my Swisspearl fixings be color-matched?

Every rivet and screw on this page can be factory-painted to match your Swisspearl panel, whether you are working to a RAL reference, a BS color code or a paint-to-sample match from the panel itself. The match is guaranteed. 25-year coating warranty on all painted fixings. Free sample packs are available before you commit to a full color run.
