This time covers the mixing of paints to achieve your desired finish, painting, and then curing time. A Sliding Point is a specifically calculated hole in a panel which is designed to allow for thermal expansion and contraction of the panel in relation to the support system.  As thermal movement is different depending on different materials, sliding point hole sizes will vary. A Fixed Point, typically located at the centre of the panel, secures the panel in place whilst absorbing dead load.
